30.9 - Sandy's Task: Wowbrary!

Every Saturday morning, the first thing I do (once I've made coffee), is check my email for my Wowbrary newletter. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this, it's a newsletter from the library (tailored for your specific library), listing the new books that the library has ordered that week. I love to jump in first thing, so that I can put holds on the books I particularly want to read - and since I'm a very early riser, I generally am able to get a great position in the holds line.

For this task, you will read 2 books, one from each of the options below. At least one of those books must be nonfiction (real nonfiction, not pseudo nonfiction about things like zombie attacks). The other book may be fiction or nonfiction. REQUIRED: Indicate in your post which book is nonfiction.

No books with the genres childrens or kids may be used. Your books must have a combined number of pages of at least 600.

Book 1: Read a book with a single author, with ALL of the author's initials found in WOWBRARY. Letters may be used only as often as they appear.

Book 2: Read a book with a title of at least 3 words, where the initial letter of each title word can be found in I LOVE MY LIBRARY.

Cat (cat_uk) | 3382 comments I did look at the Rules and FAQs, but am still a little concerned. an author with a single name is OK, right? (for book 1)

ie Natives: Race and Class in the Ruins of Empire by Akala

ETA: scratch that. reread the FAQ more carefully and single names are excluded, so I can't use it.
