Tracy recognizes that Trisha’s story needs to be told. Where does this insight come from? Is she a better reporter than she’s given credit?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) It mentions that Trisha's story touches Tracy because she's also been bullied and been made to feel she's the underdog. Although her manner might be combative with Kim at times there is no doubt she is an able journalist.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with Lisa. Tracy and Kim got off to a bad start, but over time Tracy is showing Kim and her team that she is a good reporter. She doesn't sensationalize just to write a story. She does her research and presents the facts.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I think it went even further than that. It sounds to me like Tracy has been subjected to abuse, but I also agree that she is a better reporter than she is given credit for. She just doesn't have what she has been told is the "killer instinct," but she does have a desire for the truth.

Excellent point, Lynn. She’s also a fantastic researcher and looks for what’s underneath the headline.

Lynn (ftbooklover) Thanks.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments It is not only that she is a better reporter than we (and others) think, but she is also a better human being. She has also revealed several times that she can be trusted.

Trisha's story resonated with Frost personally because she had been bullied and came close to being in Trisha's shoes with an abusive ex. That said, it takes a caring person to go to the lengths Frost did even when her own life was a risk.
