Amelia Dixon, employee of the Matrix Enterprises, manages to be duped into letting her computer be compromised, exposing all of the clients in witness protection. Your thoughts about the situation?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Really, she should have known better. Everyone knows now never to let a virtual stranger remote access to your computer.. asking for trouble. Maybe she was in a vulnerable state due to her marriage breakdown etc but someone working in that field would never have been so gullible. But again... people do dumb things (shakes head..)

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Our IT department runs tests every couple months to see how many people will open phishing messages then they slap our wrists. It is easy to get involved with the job and miss an obvious or not so obvious message requesting information. I understand Amelia getting duped. I didn't understand leaving her job without letting her superiors know so they could protect the witnesses.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments When I was still working, we were told over and over to never open attachments that we didn't recognize, and never let someone who wasn't on the IT staff take over your computer. Yes, people don't listen at all, but I can't believe Amelia would quit her job over it and not inform her boss. That's crazy.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I would think that someone in her business would be wary of anything like the situation she was placed in. Blame should be on her for not recognizing or at least reporting what happened.

I got really angry with her here. These are witness protection files! How dumb can you be here? And then to not tell anyone?

I have no empathy.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments This scenario is very questionable. I find it hard to believe that a woman in Amelia's position would
a) be so easily duped
b) not have software on her computer to prevent trojan viruses and/or hacking.

Marsons was definitely invoking poetic license here!
