What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

The book from what I can remember. Has i believe 2 main characters. A girl and boy. Brother and sister. The. Travel from some where through I believe space not totally sure. And one ends up getting a neural impant I maybe remembering parts of another book not sure. I've read so much I can't remember titles Anymore. Only bits and pieces out of books
I believe it had a red cover. But I also thought it may have been a book called naked God but I have no clue. Please. Help

Long shot, but maybe Angel Station by Walter Jon Williams? It's about a brother-sister pair who travel through space. But I don't remember anything about implants and a Google image search shows a mostly-blue cover, no red to speak of.
