The Procrastinators Book Club discussion

Welcome to the In a Holidaze Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on December 1st and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

Week of 12/01
December 1: Ch. 1-5
December 2: Ch. 6-10
December 3: Ch. 11-15
December 4: Ch. 16-20
December 5: Ch 20-end

I got started just a little early yesterday and I think I'm on Chapter 8? The time loop has just started so the MC is still getting her bearings. I'm feeling a little "meh" about it so far, but I know the romance will start to pick up pretty soon. I feel like the last Christina Lauren book that was universally agreed to be good was The Unhoneymooners, so I'm interested to see if this book breaks that pattern and is good 😂

Just getting started now! I've read only a couple of CL's books, but I've enjoyed them so I'm hopeful. I think sometimes I'm just easier to please than the average GR reader lol

Got through chapter 7 last night, definitely excited to see how it goes now that the time loop is really setting in!

Through ch 10, probably would have gotten further today but works been insane...

(view spoiler)[ ok tbh I was kinda hoping at first that there’d be some twist and Andrew wasn’t so great and she’d end up with Theo. Like the time loop was to show her that Theo isn’t who she thinks. But now I’m adoring Andrew and I just don’t know! (hide spoiler)]

I’m a little behind so I’m not gonna read those. If I was Mae, I definitely would’ve made my move on Andrew the third time the day restarted.

Heather, I was definitely thinking the same when it came to Theo. I already finished because I have no self-control and my overall thoughts are...meh. I'll wait until everyone else is done to talk about what I thought in-depth!

Mae and I were on the same page about my previous comment.

I love Andrew for her but that breakup made me a little mad bc Mae didn't really kiss Theo. That timeline doesn't even exist anymore. I would be a little upset but not enough for a breakup.

I wish there was more character development for Andrew though...

Finished this late last night! I'm pretty easy to please with most genres so I loved it <3
