Brittany | 546 comments I have actually completed or exceeded all of my challenges (although for some reason, my ABC challenge isn't picking that up accurately).

So...I am going to try to estimate how many more Christmas books I might read during December and make it another Christmas challenge for myself.

I am challenging myself to 5 Christmas books in December.
1. Her Christmastime Family A Clean Romance by Tara Randel
2. The Amish Outcast's Holiday Return by Lacy Williams
3. A Christmas Courtship (Berlin Bookmobile, #3) by Shelley Shepard Gray
4. Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope by Janice Lynn
5. Have Yourself a Christiansen Christmas by Susan May Warren
6. Eight Cats of Christmas (Christmas Holiday Extravaganza) by Erin Stevenson
7. You and Me (A Misty River Romance, #2.5) by Becky Wade

My focus has been shot this year, so I'm behind on quite a few challenges. Not sure how many books or challenges I'll get finished in December, so I have no clue which level I'll hit. Hoping to rediscover my reading focus this month so I can start next year off right.

message 12: by Alex (new)

Alex | 53 comments Just making sure - there is no Christmas book challenge this month?

message 14: by Bonny (new)

Bonny (bonnybonnybeth) | 667 comments Like Brittany, I'm going to make this a Christmas book challenge! I didn't fit in enough Christmas books in November, and just want to read more! However, unlike Brittany, I still have lots of other challenges left to finish, so I'm going to keep my goal low and aim for 3 books, Accomplishing My Goal.

Had a DNF to help with the cover challenge (I won't get another bird book done before the end of the year).

Saving Mrs. Roosevelt (Heroines of WWII) by Candice Sue Patterson
History was altered, and a military woman was referred to as "sir," which is not accurate to military protocol (now or in the 1940s, when the book took place), from what my years of military research has shown.

message 16: by Alex (new)

Alex | 53 comments I’m going to make a Christmas book challenge as well. I’d like to try and read 8 Christmas books this month!

Thank you for your honest review. I do have bibliography resources for SPAR officers referring to one another as "sir" during training. Unfortunately, I failed to include that in the Author's Note and that is an oversight I regret. I mention this only because I have clearly offended and that was not my intention.
