There is a Christmas novella that might be fun.

There is a Christmas novella that might be fun."
I think that's Under a Winter Sky a book of short stories. Or there is one labeled as 1.5 in the series which is the short story from Winter Sky done by Armstrong - one of the very few I liked from the stories. It was fun, I had forgotten that I did read it.

Bronwyn is a very lucky woman. She’s just inherited a house complete with ghosts and a time portal. This convenient portal leads directly from her bedroom into the 19th century bedroom of Lord William Thorne. Such a deal.
The story reminded me a bit of a Susanna Kearsley book. The ghosts were actually mildly scary, but the book never came close to a level of horror that could keep me awake. That’s fine with me. The love story is sweet and predictable. The swinging door time travel was both too unpredictable and too easy. The author’s pen was always there pushing the button to move the plot along, an obvious Macguffin. This is the first book of a series, but there were no unanswered questions or hanging plotlines at the end. I don’t feel compelled to read the next book, but I might some time when I’m looking for an easy read.
