Andrew | 17 comments This is so easy it hurts. It may be The Leopard, although I read something by Baudelaire the other, as I was like "wow, that's amazing!", so I'm tempted to pick Madame Bovary based on it.

Yrinsyde | 295 comments I just finished The Little Prince. Read for the first time aged 50. My Mum has a copy and I can't believe I've not read it before now! It was beautiful and made me teary.

I'll be starting Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre in a couple days- hope I can get through it- if not I'll probably go with Life: A User's Manual by Georges Perec.

Luke (korrick) Turns out I already have four of the five languages on my 2022 to do list:

Portuguese (Tent of Miracles - Jorge Amado)
Spanish (The War of the End of the World - Mario Vargas Llosa)
Italian (Invisible Cities - Italo Calvino)
French (The Charterhouse of Parma - Stendhal; Nausea - Jean-Paul Sartre)

I'm just going to plug in whatever's left when the other categories are completed.

I did make it through Nausea! I've started Life: A User's Manual now anyway, but I'm farther along in one by an Italian author Pereira Declares: A Testimony by Antonio Tabucchi.
