Amaya Veiga (amayaveiga) | 2 comments Dear moderator/s of O.S.S,
My name is Amaya Brielle Veiga, and I am an incoming sophomore student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, majoring in English literature. To improve my resume in preparation for grad school applications, I had an idea. What if we started targeting university students by implementing "Our Shared Shelf" as a university club/organization? I just wanted to ask for your permission and advice on how to prepare for this.
Sincerely,
Amaya Brielle Veiga

Jonathan Reese | 23 comments That seems a very good idea Amaya. I just don't understand if you mean to transform this bookclub in a university organization or just implement a local OurSharedShelf in universities. Could you please clarify?

Amaya Veiga (amayaveiga) | 2 comments Hi! It would be implementing OSS into the university as a club.

Jonathan Reese | 23 comments Well this should be an OSS student's initiative. Unfortunately, I'm not a student anymore. You could implement your idea in your university!

Hello Amaya,

Thank you for reaching out. The mods would be thrilled if you started an OSS group at your university and that you would be the leader of the discussions.

You are welcome to start with the current books we are reading or begin with the ones Emma herself curated. Check out this link here for the full run down of what we have read together. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Hope you have a lot of fun reading and discussing these items with your peers.

-Pam
