I can only agree. It was really, really good! I adored it.

Looking forward to reading this one. The title kinda reminded me of the poppy wars, which I’m currently reading

I hope I can get this from my library over winter break! I cannot wait to see the portrayal of family dynamics. Families are so complicated. I am glad to hear there is a happy ending even if we have to emotionally work for it.

Yeah definitely but family dynamics can also break ones heart from time to time. In this book (view spoiler)[ Nishat's parents but also her sister sometimes broke my heart. But I also kind of was annoyed with Night sometimes as she seemed very selfish but on the other hand I could totally understand why she was so self-centred as so much was going on in her life.... Maybe someone had the same struggle with Nishat? (hide spoiler)]
And I personally could related a lot with Nishat and her perspective and pop and situation so this book really got me...
