How about Journey to the Center of the Earth? It mentions in the description that the book is set in Iceland and they are exploring an Icelandic volcano...

yes, as long as at least half is in Iceland. The metadata also describes Hamburg as a setting.
May I have verification of The Caveman? Set entirely in Norway. The goodreads blurbs do not make the location clear.

yes. I've had my eye on that book, too, but there are too many holds at the library for me to get it any time soon.
I'd like to recommend the novella Marta Oulie: A Novel of Betrayal. It was originally published in Norwegian in 1907 and was just translated to English in 2014.
