The AR BookFinder data is IL: MG+ so even if the genre Childrens does show up it would work
"Books that have an IL designation of MG+, UG, or UY (in the UK) may be used with no restrictions (other than general SRC and specific task requirements) However, you must state the IL designation when you post the book."

Yes, if you are concerned that the genre could appear that book would work for this task.

The Blue Fairy Book

It does say Children and Young Adult on main page.

The book is not listed in ARBookfinder. You may use it for this task. You'll need to state that the book is not in ARBookfinder when you post

IL: MG - BL: 4.9 - AR Pts: 10.0
As this task says read ANY book, can this include those that are on ARBookfinder but would not normally be eligible, or is it only those which aren't on ARBookfinder that can be included?
Clutching at straws here ;)

Sorry, no, your book still must meet minimum SRC requirements

Since the task says "Note: Books with the genre "children" or "kids" NOT found in AR Bookfinder MAY be used for this task" and doesn't mention AR Bookfinder UK, would this be usable?
Similar to Sarah @17, I'm clutching at straws (and expect the answer to be that it's not eligible) but decided it was worth asking.
I just got back from a trip to Ireland where I bought this in a discount bookstore. It's very hard to find Enid Blyton in the U.S.
