DECEMBER - SNOWBALL FIGHT CHALLENGE

Merry, merry, Christmas!
Happy December to y’all! For this month, we will be having a special challenge and… here it is! So keep on reading and follow this guide:

GOAL: Eliminate as many players as you can [with the power of books!].

STYLE: Individual/Team

RULES:

1. Books below 250 pages will not count.
2. Please do not remain passive throughout the challenge if you will participate, especially if you will sign up for the team version.
3. No cheating: only log books that you’ve finished entirely.
4. Have fun! This ain’t meant to “taunt” your reading any way, but to, rather, add up to the fun!

INDIVIDUAL: INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS (for individual participants): Okay, so, as you know, snowballs are meant to not-painfully-hit-someone, but just for fun. And some readers here have no snow based on where they’re from. And as you remember, as a bookworm—books can transport you to whomever and wherever and whenever you’d like!
Each participant has thirty (30) points at the beginning of the game.
So, simply, for every book you read…

(POINTS SYSTEM:)

[So simply, for every book you read [and log]…] …two points will be deducted from a certain participant, then one point will be added to your score. (There will be no page count points system, etc.) And of course: You may choose which participant you’ll target! Simply do this by…

(HOW TO LOG YOUR BOOKS:)

…logging your books like this in the “DECEMBER - SNOWBALL FIGHT CHALLENGE: Universal Log”:
Username: _____*
Book: _____
Author: _____
Page Count: _
Target: __
The target will be the participant whose points you will deduct! For example:
Username: Sophie
Book: Anne of Green Gables
Author: L.M. Montgomery
Page Count: 320
Target: JMCDC
And for example: Sophie (our mod XD) was the one logging the book said above. She starts with 30 points, and I have 30 points too, of course. And because she targeted me, I will end up with 28 points, and Sophie will have an additional one point, and will thus have 31 points in total.

* this should be the sign-up name you wanted to use; the one you answered in “Sign-up Name” when signing up

FAQ: Is there a limit on the times I can target a certain participant?

Nope!

FAQ: If someone targets a participant in particular, can I still target the latter participant?

Yes, of course! There’s never any limit on whom you will target, but just remember that you can only target one whenever you log a single book.

THE ULTIMATE SNOWBALL

FAQ: What is “The Ultimate Snowball”? The Ultimate Snowball is a snowball you can unlock after reading ten (10) books in total. This snowball can now target three (3) participants, and upon hitting your targets, you will regenerate five (5) points. You will request for this snowball in a special thread, which will be entitled as: “DECEMBER - SNOWBALL FIGHT CHALLENGE”.

HOW TO REQUEST THE ULTIMATE SNOWBALL

You will re-log all the ten (10) books you’ve finished in the special thread named above. Here’s the format:

* this should be the sign-up name you wanted to use; the one you answered in “Sign-up Name” when signing up

FAQ: What if I end up with 0 points?

If you end up with 0 points, you will be… ELIMINATED! Meaning, you will no longer be able to participate further in the challenge! But don’t worry, you’ll still get a Certificate of Participation. ;)

FAQ: What factor determines the winner?

The one with the most points by the end of the challenge wins!

This is the thread for individual participants.
