It is fiction...
If you end up liking The President and the Freedom Fighter: Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, and Their Battle to Save America's Soul you might also like The Zealot and the Emancipator: John Brown, Abraham Lincoln, and the Struggle for American Freedom. I read that this time last year and it was really good.

I loved the illustrations, games and trivia. I have been a fan of Patrick Swayze since watching the movie The Outsiders. This book did not disappoint. It was a great tribute to an amazing actor and man.

A very detailed account of the history of the Gucci empire. I enjoyed the added pictures of the family that was included, it made the story more real. It was very interesting to read about all the legal battles that took place.

This book will take you on a journey about Michael J Fox's early life and his battle with Parkinson's Disease. I have been a fan of Michael J Fox since his tv series Family Ties and was just a shocked as everyone when he announced his battle with his disease. This book was entertaining as well as inspiring.

This looks like a very interesting read. Also glad you like the MJF book. Going to find the time to read it this year!

This book was inspirational, powerful and emotional for me. It made me laugh, cry and made me think. I took away with me so many things after finishing this book that made me change my perspective on life and living it to the fullest. I can say that I haven't read most of the books that the author read with his mother in their book club, but I have added a few of those onto my never ending TBR. One of the quotes that really stuck with me was “That’s one of the things books do. They help us talk. But they also give us something we all can talk about when we don’t want to talk about ourselves.”

This has been on my TBR shelf for a while now, so glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much! I need to bring it up, hopefully soon. Thank you for reminding me about it.
