This resonates with me on a deep level. This year I won three giveaways and I only finished one. I am ashamed.

=D!!! I TOTALLY know what you are talking about! I wish books for christmas and birthdays - and what do I do when I get them? I lay them on top of a Read Very Soon-pile ... that by some reason multiplies in a strange way unknown to mankind. And then I read something that I just HAVE to borrow from the library .... And then I look at my shelves with hundreds of unread treasures and remind myself - again - that I shall NOT borrow from the library, nor download any e-books (that somehow tends to imitate my pile of Read-Very-Soon-books and multiply in my computer - must be some kind of virus), nor buy anymore books from the annual national book sale that we have in february every year in Sweden, nor attend any give aways - because sometimes I win them, nor search through second hand book shops online (which I love so much), nor try to get new books after being inspired by you lot) ... and so on, and on, and on ....

But despite all - I do believe this is a behaviour that I truely love =)

@Samanta: WHY CAN'T WE READ WHAT WE OWN?"

It's a mystery, Jillian. :D

No, no please .... not MORE Temptations!!! Do I now ALSO have to make a Shakespeare, a Dickens and a Fairytale Challenge? Please, I'm just a weak human being - it's so difficult to say no. If this was food I could say no to binge eating, if this was drugs I could say no to taking the trip of my life, if this was alcohol I could say no to becoming so drunk I couldn't walk for a week, if this was sex ... well, let's leave that out for now .... but it's BOOKS and you are mentioning challenges that makes my palate drool ...

Kathleen | 5458 comments I love the trajectory you've mapped out leading to Fairie Queen, Jillian. Congratulations, you're on your way!

Lori Keeton | 1496 comments This is so amazingly organized, Jillian! I can't even imagine how long this would take me to come up with and put together so beautifully as you have. What a fun way to approach your goals this year! You could teach a class on how to create all of this!

Dave (adh3) | 924 comments I love how you creatively change fonts with each challenge. It conveys a zest in undertaking your challenges.

More importantly, you introduced me to two authors that I know already I will enjoy, Vera Brittain and Winifred Holtby. Added books by both to my list.
