Although in this case it’s hard to tell since so many of the place names were from Earth, especially Yellowstone. Naming the planet that seemed odd to me, since Reynolds had such cool names for everything else. It just kept evoking images of the park for me.

Also, were some of the other accents nudging toward racist stereotypes? He clearly chose them to suit the surname and they were hella generic.
I'm currently listening to Steven Pacey read Abercrombie's The Heroes and he does such a great job; a wide variety of mostly UK accents, absolutely no bleed over between them - even two brothers who he does as Welsh are distinct.
I know this isn't a very literary or thoughtful question about the book itself, so I suppose to make up for it...
I'm only on chapter 12. Do we get any certainty regarding where old Earth is in the whole scheme of civilization? Or how far into the future it is?
