I've just gone through my 12+4 and 4 of those are over 400 pages (annoying one is 396!), so I'll start at 5, but hope to get to more

This is a fun series but they're all so long! Have #6 and #7 to go but at over 800 and 500 pages respectively, I want to wait till I'm vacationing on a beach (because this is where they absolutely must be read, lol) to pick them up.

They are, but I just find them such quick reads, this has been my favourite, I was so impressed with both the strong, independent animal loving women from the past, and the quirky bookshop that allowed you to sit in front of a fire, reading and being given coffee from the current time, I could just read it all over again.

Feel a bit guilty counting this, as my paperback had 501 pages. Red Mist

3rd finished, The Schemer 536 pages.

Good job I only went for 5, or I'd have been behind. Annoyingly the one I've just read was 498 pages!

I hate when that happens! Couldn’t the author add some more descriptions or filler for a few more pages! 🤣

Right! And someone told the good reads librarians the current book I am reading is 829 pages 😍, then I start reading and it’s only 479. I would have read it anyway but don’t get a girl’s hopes up that she can check off another task. 😢

Going slower than expected, number 4 Mightier Than the Sword

Finished! I do think book 5 was a bit of a cheat, as it's a 3 in 1 book, at least the one I'm currently reading is over 800 pages so will make up for it. Will be interesting to see how far over my target I can get.

And the 881 page book is complete.
