Looking forward to your list!

Wayne Jordaan | 61 comments Lots of new reading material in your list for me. I have read only This Mournable Body and So Long A Letter, and will most probably try to read some of Leila Aboulela early in the new year.

Orgeluse | 481 comments There are quite a few short poetry collections in there this year - I could not resist these collections called "New Generation African Poets" edited by Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani.

I so far liked Aboulela's Lyrics Alley and Bird Summons, so I am curious about the short stories.
