I'll be reading They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera.

This one was highly recommended by a good friend who eventually bought it for me with the caveat I actually read it, so here's hoping my heart can take it!

CHALLENGE COMPLETED 3/11/22

Oh man was that good! it really made me think about what I would do if I knew without a doubt I would die by the end of the day. It also said a lot about what makes up a family. I thoroughly enjoyed it even if the title spoiled the ending!

March: End, Fall, Loud, Queen, Woods, Nine, Beautiful, Crown

Last night I finished reading THE STORY OF BEAUTIFUL GIRL by Rachel Simon. A 3.5* read for me. Rather slow (for me) for the first one-third, but the ending was worth it!

Jessica Barton (jblovestoread) | 6 comments Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

completed 3/5. This book was hard for me to get in to at first but I LOVED it! There were so many plot twists and it kept me on my feet. I can't wait to read the next book. 5 stars

Rachael | 6 comments I read Agatha Christie’s “Peril at End House”. Finished 3/6/22. It’s just over 200 pages, but reads very quickly. I never met an Agatha Christie book I didn’t like!

Title: We all Fall Down
Author: Robert Cormier
A classic YA novel about the fallout and aftermath of violence and guilt. I liked how the two teen main characters, Jane and Buddy, had realistic personalities with both positive and negative traits.

Keyword-Beautiful
Book: Everyone is Beautiful by Katherine Center
My rating:5 stars
Review: sweet and insightful woman’s fiction. A quick fun read.

Title: Queen Anne’s Lace by Susan Wittig Albert
I really liked this book! I’m not usually a fan of a book that has two narratives going, and eventually they connect in the end, because I get confused sometimes trying to keep the storylines straight. BUT, this one was easy to follow and ties in so well together. I didn’t know how interesting a book about plants could be, but it was an amazing read for me! Would read it again!

message 17: by Elba (new)

Elba M (elbamsosa) | 69 comments This month I read The beautiful ones by Silvia Moreno Garcia. This a book about this girl named Nina and she is getting ready for her debut in society. But Nina has a secret, she has the power of Telekinesis. This book is about love and betrayal, conformity and passion, very scandalous especially for such a young girl.

Taking a few liberties with the keyword "Queen", I read the 1st book in the Secret McQueen series (Something Secret This Way Comes by Sierra Dean).

It's a paranormal romance that I enjoyed so much I went on to read a few more books in the series.

Just now getting a chance to post… I read Queens of Fennbirn. I loved this story. It moved rather slowly at first but then picked up. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
