Question for anyone who has read Jazz, the second book in Toni Morrison's Beloved trilogy:
Does it have enough actual jazz that it could legitimately be considered "music-related." It occurs to me that "Jazz" might just be someone's name, and have nothing to do with music in the context of this book.

I read this about a year ago and I don't recall any music in it. There may be some but it's not a major theme as far as I remember. It's more of a sense of everything being pervaded with jazz in this era.

But the Jazz of the title does refer to the music/culture - it's not someone's name - so it could be called a music-related book just because it has a form of music in the title.
