I'm having one heck of a time getting through The Far Pavilions. I mean I'm really enjoying it when I pick it up and read it, but it is quite a hunker at 955 pgs. I started it in May and was hoping to finish before the summer is over. Not sure about that anymore, maybe I'll finish by October. 🎃

I have the paperback version from when it was originally published, the paper is brown and the type is VERY small for my eyes!! Good luck finishing, you will inspire me.

Weighty for sure but at least you are enjoying the read! Hope it continues to be enjoyable.

I did read The Far Pavilions many years ago when I could still read those paperbacks with small print. I think I even read it twice. Anyway, I enjoyed it and the movie, so hope you keep going!
