Hehe okay so I'm just going to introduce a character that needs serious development and then I'll get to the other ones later.

Tarrenza.
Species: dwarf
Age: 80
Personality: Quiet, slightly deranged, enthusiastic, ready for anything... the list could continue but I don't feel like doing that right now... XD
Weapon: Sword when necessary, but she refers her flute-like instrument called a Widden Dirk that basically makes people feel deep emotions and see visions and have dreams all of which usually reveal painful deep-seated truths...
Appearence: 3 1/2 feet tall, long matted brown hair that she usually wears in a ponytail, grey eyes

Personality: Edgey, He has REALLY REALLY BAD trust issues (Because he believes his best friend who was like a brother betrayed him), He's sorta rude, but once you get to know him he's a really funny and nice guy
Weapon: Usually a sword and a bow.
Background: He was a gladiator but now he's an assasin....don't wory he becomes a Lord and turns good :)

Weapon: ....words (yes, yes, not very interesting but it's not a fantasy book soooooooo)
Life: Lives with two sisters (one older and one younger), his parents, and is having a friend over for the night (Ben), is looking for a treasure that was hidden during the Revolutionary War by Thomas Jefferson

Name: Rika

Eye color: Blue
Personality: Tends to keep to herself and not share anything to anyone because of her past. Always thinking one step ahead, sneaks around easily because she is short and quick, and loves photography.
Her story: Rika is a Jew in Holland during WWII, but after being captured, she manages to escape the concentration camp and life under the alias of another girl, Lena. Under her fake identity, she goes to live with her "grandparents", (who know who she truly is). Rika decides to make a difference in the war by becoming a photographer for an illigal newspaper supporting the Allies, and goes on a dangerous quest back to her old identity for photographs that could change the tide of the war.

Personality: Shy, but trusting in those who he knows well, especially his best friend, Andreas. He has a passion for art, and loves coming up with schemes.
His story: Jakob's father is a painter, and wishes for Jakob to follow the same path. For years, Jakob thought he wanted to as well, until he discovered the new art of engraving, yet to be perfected. With the help of some friends, he secretly tries his hand at this art, and decides it is his destiny. Then he sets out on a quest to prove to his father that he can and will become the first master of engraving by engraving a deck of playing cards.

Personality: Rude and arrogant, but has a sensitive side and can be kind if you get to know her. Likes to draw using blood, which is very..uh..abnormal..in my OC's world.
Story: Penelope ran away from home, hoping to find her "real" family, which were just video game characters. She eventually became a murderer, did all that murderer stuff, and built a portal to another dimension where her "real" family was real. Then she asked them to adopt her, the end. Btw she still murders people bc she is in a cult where she has to kill people.

Lixúe Chen

from eastern Asula continent, Sorin country, in Dailin province - chinese-based descent
age - 17

personality - (view spoiler)[Lixúe is very focused and intelligent, always finding it easiest to be learning how things work versus conversing. This causes her to give off a mysterious vibe, making many admire her and wish to be friends with her, but being too scared to do so. She keeps to herself and doesn’t go out of her way to talk to people, honestly getting a bit anxious when people do try conversing with her. Lixúe is a rule follower, not wanting to go out of her comfort zone because of the trauma she has of her parents wanting her to be obedient. She doesn’t do things that are frowned upon by society. Lixúe does want to be more open sometimes, but she’s scared of what might happen. She hates it when people diminish all of her traits to simply being Asul when it’s so much deeper than that. She hates herself because of all that hatred her parents forced upon her, viewing her hair and magic as more of a curse than a gift. (hide spoiler)]

history - (view spoiler)[ Lixúe’s parents were descendants of those in the Crimson War (or Xīnghóng zhī zhàn, but yeh) and despite it being so long ago each of those in her family line were taught to hate witches. Her community was just like this, too, and many other households held that belief. While the war ended, prejudice was still all over Asula, with only a few places having a few witches. It’s a rare trait, but white hair is a definite sign of a witch and shows they have been blessed with what they call “the Mother’s Kiss”, representing good luck among other things. Many have speculated about it and different theories go on about it, but most believe Nusha herself has white hair. Lixúe was born that way and her parents knew, immediately being disgusted. They still raised her for a period of time, but it was emotionally abusive and she was made to feel other. When Lixúe was only 10 her abilities finally sprouted despite her trying to suppress it. And worse, it was in front of her father. He cast her out and sent her away to an island far off that was a boarding school, wanting her to learn to reign in her abilities despite it only being a little magic. Lixúe learned excellent control, partially because she had always been taught to be perfect but also so that one day her parents could look at her and see she wasn’t a witch and their daughter instead. Writing medieval fiction novel inspired off chess, 32 characters in total each with their own chapter, It's a nightmare. Ones of importance:
White Queen, ambitious flirtatious amazing liar.
Black Queen, curious brave clever.
White Queen's bishop, sadistic cunning manipulative.
White rook's pawn, empathetic innocent emotional.

can't wait for this book to be finished :)

I have 2 main characters so here they both are!:

Shadow
Species: Moon Dragon
Description: Purple scales, blue eyes, slim but still strong looking, also she does get some scars, but they mostly fade away in the later books so not worth mentioning
Job: Assassin (Something she is not to proud of)
Personality: Acts very confident and has good leader ship skills, but honestly doesn't like talking to people, it's just a thing she was forced to do due to her life. Doesn't really want to kill, but since she thinks the only way to impress her mom is to become an Elite (Any dragon who gets chosen to work with the leader) she tries her best.

Wave (My fav!)
Species: Moon-Water Dragon Hybrid (His parents were from different groups)
Description: Blue scales, purple underbelly and wings,bright green eyes. He is really skinny and you can see his ribs, and he has a scar under his eye/on his cheek from his mom.
Job: Hunter
Personality: Acts mean to try and scare others away, but with Shadow or another close friend he is really just a soft boy who is just scared. He wants to leave the Moon Tribe and find his father since he isn't happy yet and thinks that will help.

Powers: She can control two elements (air and earth) given to her by the gods she is devoted to, both of which she uses for healing purposes. She can also use those elements for non-healing relating purposes if she feels like it. She can create a wind storm or cause plants to grow, but those abilities take a lot of energy and are only done rarely because of that.

Likes: Helping people, mediating, healing, the gods she is devoted to, jewelry, healing magic, nature, and wild-life.

Dislikes: Violence, harm, mean people, people who don't appreciate the work she is doing, and people who are mean to her friends.

Favorite color: Purple/violet.

Powers: She has blue fire (which isn't like normal fire) that can form into a hand and pick up things, and it can be used to stop someone from escaping by tying them up (but that takes a lot of energy to do). (She also has one other power, which I am still figuring out).

Likes: disguising herself as a man, solving cases, working as a detective, jackets, and fancy jackets.

Dislikes: Torture, her father, being betrayed by people she loves, D.I. Time's love letters to her, and acting "ladylike."
