Woody brings in an interview technique consultant with MI 5 experience to assist with the questioning of Steven Harte. Was he helpful?

Lynn (ftbooklover) No, it was a complete waste of time because his techniques are tried and true methods that the detectives already use.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I suppose if he had Kim working with these techniques day in and day out, they may have been helpful. But a 1-hour crash course wasn't going to be much help.

He gave them a few things to think about, confirming what they already knew and offering little new perspective. He would be more effective observing a session and giving feedback like Alison did. Strange he didn’t suggest that. That’s the difference between academic and practical training approaches. One’s a yawn and the other makes a bigger difference.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments He gave them a few things to think about, but he could have stayed home. They didn't have enough time for in depth training, and the bits and pieces they received weren't that helpful.

I agree Jonetta, observing their style and giving pointers would have been more helpful.
