BYL Reading Challenge discussion

Read an author's first book - this could be a brand new author or a new to you author, so long as you are picking up their very first book!

I am reading A Flicker in the Dark” by Stacy Willingham.
It debuts 1/11. I got it early through the book of the month club.

I’m planning to satisfy this with The Shore by Katie Runde. She’s a local mom acquaintance and the book comes out in May.

My pick for this one is The Mermaid, the Witch, and the Sea by Maggie Tokuda-Hall. It's 99c on Kindle, by a debut author, set at sea, and the cover is GORGEOUS.

We just finished Midsummer's Mayhem by Rajani LaRocca as we wrapped up BYL5 and I noticed that this is a debut so I'm going to use it here! Cute story with lots of laughs mixed into the serious.
