The Book Fairy Program!

I will sign up with a list of books after Christmas, as I'm sure I'll be getting some off my list 😄🤗

Thanks for being kind, sponsor person! =)
Thank you so much to the Book Fairy for always being so passionate about reading and sharing with everyone <3
I can't wait to see what people choose!

Edit to update my list:
The Last Hero
Battle Ground
Legends & Lattes
Dark Matter
This is sacrilegious, but I'm imagining putting loose leaf books pages under a pillow at night, when the binding fails or a page is torn out, like the tooth fairy :D
Anyways... thank you book fairy... interested to see the results, like Soo...

Judgment at Proteus (trade paperback)

The Sword of Kaigen
Fall of the Argosi

Edited Wishlist:
It's really hard for me to make a wishlist of books I haven't already bought, if I'm really in the mood for them... so I'll just turn this into a new release wishlist for the rest of the year:
So now, it basically all comes down to what month it happens to be if/when I'm picked again...
June: (view spoiler)
July: (view spoiler)
August: (view spoiler)
September: (view spoiler)
October/November/December: (view spoiler)
I don't think I included anything I doubt will have an audio release immediately... and as long as it's on Audible already, I can pre-order if it's a bit early...

I appreciate all the sign-ups! As I’m away from my work computer for the holiday, I will be contacting our first recipient on Monday. Nice way to start out the new year. :-)
The wheel has spun and our first recipient has been chosen!!
Contacting now...
I'll leave it up to each individual whether or not to share they've been picked in the thread.

Malice - John Gwynne (either for BR next month)
The Book Fairy is coming to town...
I just imagine that in a sing-song voice :D
I got the book I requested on here (my list was super small, never updated it, was happy to get the one book on my list (and the final book in the series as well))

I was blessed by the Book Fairy back in 2020 (I believe), they got me some of my fave - Hobb!! :)

I'm also feeling deeply touched I was chosen. I had a rough start to the new year (passed a kidney stone this week) and this helped improve my spirits immensely.

Geez, Narilka, hope you're feeling better soon.

Ohhh Narilka that's not a great way to spend the first bit of the year. I've heard kidney stone are horrible things. Hope you feel better now its gone!

The Book Fairy is a program initiated by one of our members who wants to spread a little joy in these crazy times by giving the gift of reading (…and book hoarding).
If you’re interested in receiving a free book of your choice, you need to meet a few humble criteria: And that’s it! Our book fairy is amazing and generous, and I’m so happy to be involved with this program. The purpose is to spread as much joy through reading as we can. It’s meant in good spirit and we welcome any of our wonderful, participating members to sign up. You may have heard of our workings behind the scenes - we’ve been running it intermittently over the last couple of years on the down-low, but now we are taking the program a bit more public. You can still sign up even if you’ve already received a book from us in the past (in fact, we encourage you to).
If your entry is chosen, rather than posting here, I’ll contact you via Goodreads messenger and we’ll go from there.
Names will be selected on the week beginning Monday, December 27th, so sign up before then if you want to be a part of the first wave. :)
Thanks everyone! <3
*We also will gift ebooks and audiobooks via Amazon, but I believe that only works if you’re in the states, as that’s where I ship from. So if you have any info on better ways to get books to you, please let me know once you are contacted. Thanks!
