Play Book Tag discussion

I have been a fan of Paula McLains historical fiction novels, so when I heard that she had written a mystery set in Mendocino, one of my favorite vacation spots of Northern California, I was determined to read it.

Detective Anna Hart, who works in missing persons division, returns to Mendocino where she attended high school to recover from a personal tragedy. Shortly after she arrives, she discovers a local teenager is missing and becomes involved in the case.

I enjoyed reading about all the places which I am familiar with in this book. It felt nostalgic, even the year in which it was set 1993.

While I can see this developing into a series, I hope that she returns to her historical fiction which I enjoy so much more.
