Buddy Read - Wicked Wyckerly

I have started reading this. I am up to chapter 8 and I am really enjoying it so far. The characters are all interesting and I am a little intrigued. I am quite fond of Mr Wyckerly already....I do like a rogue with a soft centre

Well I am now about 75% through and still enjoying it. I don't really want it to end. It has surprising depth, I am enjoying the main characters and the secondary characters are also well drawn.
It took me a while to understand what Hoyt and Lady Bell were up to. Their bet did and subsequent actions did not make sense for a while (I even read that chapter twice), but now it does.
I am finding the role of the second son quite interesting. Different to many other stories with second sons (or spares). I also find the gambling interesting - as it is also coming from a different perspective than many other novels.

That sounds like a good idea. I am thinking that I will add this series to my 2022 challenge....including the novella

I'm going to dive in and start The Wicked Wyckerly tonight without reading Incomparable Lord Meath Novella: A Rebellious Sons prequel first. I doubt I will make it eight chapters in, but we will see.
I've read the prequel, it was very little and a nice reading. It's about a couple Honoria and Evan and about the "beginning" of the Dowager contess of Belden. It was nice!
I think I will also add this to the series challenge for 2022

Looking forward to the the rest of the story.
I'm also on 66% of the book and also enjoying. I like the couple very much and the way they bond with each other for the sake of the children.
Yes - I am going to read the series too. I finished it a few days ago and I still think about it, which is more than I can say for a lot of books.
I keep thinking of the rogue Wyckerly spending his nights killing vermin and cleaning his London townhouse and it makes me smile. I thought the dry humour was well done and the romance was lovely
