I don't think they exist in the way that everyone thinks. In my faith, I believe that souls in purgatory sometimes go down to earth to ask for help in fulfilling a promise that gets them to heaven. So technically my answer is both yes and no, ghosts are souls from purgatory, but the ghosts that everyone thinks of are not real.

I don’t think ghosts are real, I am a Christian and set my guidelines by the Bible. I do believe that there is the Holy Ghost that lives inside of you, but I do not believe that there are literal ghosts like in the movies everywhere.
