Fairy Tale Retellings! discussion

Hello everyone. It seems that we were all so busy prepping for the holidays that no one missed December's book of the month (Oops sorry folks lol). According to the poll, our book of the month will be Ellie and the Prince by J.M. Stengl. It's a sweet clean read in a fascinating world that blends the modern world with a magical fanatical world. I found it interesting and look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on it. Happy reading!

I read Ellie and the Prince pretty recently, so I think I'll substitute with The Mirror and the Curse. (Last book of the series and the only one I haven't read yet. ;)

I can’t wait to read this! I’ve been reading the series completely out of order so it will be good to read the first one. :)

Ohh definitely. I really enjoyed this first book with its twists and vivid descriptions. I hope you enjoy it too!

I just saw the notes you posted for The Mirror and the Curse. How did you like it? :)

I really enjoyed it! Eddi was very entertaining and reasonable*except for those few times you wanna shake her XD* and being an equestrian myself, I obviously loved the winged horses ;). A few characters from the previous books had cameos, which is always fun! I wish we could have had The Gamekeeper show up though. ***This is probably a spoiler,but...***
-I'm guessing the mirror will be playing a part in the future books? At least something to do with it anyways. I gather there are things going on behind the scenes, what with "Geoff" doing investigations and such. Anywho! I'm looking forward to future books in this series. ^-^

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Omg yes I wish the Gamekeeper got a scene. I just finished Ellie and the Prince and he's just as mysterious as he's always been. Very intriguing.

I'm so happy to find another fan of one of my favorite series. We can patiently wait for new books together. :)
