One Point Tasks
1.1 HAPPY NEW YEAR
Read a book with a New-to-you author -OR- first book in a series -OR- book published in 2022.
1.2 HAPPY BIRTHDAY
A. A. Milne & Paricia Highsmith
BONUS POINT: you can choose a second task.
Choose one of the following:
*A. A. Milne was born January 18, 1882.
a. Read a book that has two of the following numbers •1•8•8•2 in its page count.
b. A. A. means Alan Alexander - Read a book whose author has either name - first/last name.
* Patricia Highsmith was born January 19, 1921.
c. Read a book that has two of the following numbers •1•9•2•1 in its page count.
d. Patricia was known for psychological thrillers. Read a book with MPG:PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLERS.
1.3 (Mickslibrarian 's Task) CHILDREN CLASSIC Anne of Green Gables
I was given the entire 8-book set of Anne books as a Christmas present when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I was enthralled by them, mostly because Anne got into trouble like I did but was still loved by her family, and I didn't always feel that way. I read the first book so many times it had a permanent crease in the paper cover where I would bend the book as I was reading. I still have that set, and they still get the occasional airing. In fact, I'm probably overdue for a dose of Anne...
Choose one
a) Auburn, not Carrots - Anne's feud with Gilbert Blythe began when he called her carrots - not a good thing for one as sensitive as she regarding her red hair. Her one hope was that when she got older, it might be considered auburn by others.
Read a book with a dark red cover that Anne would consider to be auburn. Show cover.
b) Anne with an "E" - Anne was adamant that if she had to have such a boring name (as opposed to an interesting one like "Geraldine" or "Cordelia"), it at least needed to be spelled with an "E". Right, schoolteachers?
Read a book by an author with the name Anne (not Ann).
1.4 READING THROUGH THE ALPHABET:
LETTER Q
Read a book with a word in title that starts with a Q.
e.g. The Kiss Quotient, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking

(Who•What•When•Where•Why•How)
Read a book with one of the 5W1H words in title.
e.g. Clap When You Land, What She Left Behind, Beautiful World, Where Are You
1.7 (Amber's task) READING CHALLENGE GOALS

• Read a book with MPG:BOOKS ABOUT BOOKS or with books on the cover (show cover).
1.8 (Diana S task) SNOWFLAKES
