Do you think Ethan should have been forgiven as easily as Olive forgave him?

Personally, I think Ethan messed up big time. If I was Olive I wouldn't have forgiven him that quickly. He basically told her that her personality was always negative and told her that she always sees the worst in people. Even when she tried to explain to him that she has no reason to lie, he still didn't believe her. Even though there was more than enough evidence to prove Dane (Ethan's younger brother) guilty.

I wouldnt forgive him and that’s why i dislike this book. For me, he doesnt deserve her at all and i dont get it how ppl see this book as a light & fun summer read. I was so stressed reading this lol

I think you guys have to look at as (and I'm not an ANYYY way excusing what he did, I literally hated him lmao ) if you were in his place and somebody tells you that your sibling was cheating and hitting on your partner and remember this is the same sibling you grew up with and hasn't given you any reason to distrust them. I probably would have acted in a similar but different way. He definitely should have dug more instead of just putting Olive down and just believing his brother straight away.

I understand why she forgave him, but also after all that time spent together to literally not believe her at all and then break up seemed weird, instead of going and to ask his brother and try to figure something out, but i also think ethan was in shock about his brother because he did think his brother wasnt exclusive with olive's sister til the engagement which makes no sense

O Ethan foi um idiota sem duvidas, mas de certo modo entendo a Olive porque ela muito ele e de qualquer forma ela iria perdoar ele.

I think Ethan's reaction shows the bigger issues in that would occur in their relationship (ie. communication and lack of trust) and make it hard for me to believe that they would "make it" after the end of the story. Personally, I wish the authors would have shown Ethan and Olive talking about what happened and working towards repairing things more. I think that would have grounded things and made their ending feel much more realistic 🤷🏻‍♀️

Absolutely not! I wouldn't be able to see him the same after everything. It would take many throughout apologies before I even gave him a second thought. 😒

no i personally don't think she should have , because he did not trust her despite her repeatedly telling him the same thing , he used her insecurities against her and after all that all he did was just show up at her PLACE OF WORK and say sorry? like THAT'S IT?!!
What he did was definitely unforgivable for me.

I honestly thought that they won't end up together at the end. On the other hand, I wasn't really surprised what happened after. I think, except for that Olive forgave too quickly, it was a good read.

Não e isso me deixou muito mal, pois é um livro de romance com uma temática fofa.

Well not that quickly

Unforgivable to me, its a book I wish they didn't end up together.

yo creo que no la tuvo facil, olive la penso mucho para poder perdonarlo finalmente, pero hay que tener en cuenta que aunque ethan dijo cosas que no debia, estaba en una encrucijada muy grande entre su hermano y su novia

NO

honestly, no. like he didn't even try to believe her

Definitely not. Ethan really messed up. What he did was unforgivable for me.

Olive is in love with Ethan. Sounds like unconditional love. Very sweet romantic story
