I think it is Councilor Darek.

I honestly think it might be as well. For the longest time I thought it was jensi’s older brother,(I forgot his name) but then he had said in one of the books that revealing his identity would need a long explanation and a long story, and that didn’t make much sense if it was him. But it being a councillor on the other hand… that I could see!

I personally agree with the Jensi’s older brother theory! During Neverseen, while part of the collective and Sophie’s friends where onboard a ship traveling to the ogres city, something involving water happened to blur, and Shannon messenger described his features as familiar to Sophie, with many features that where similar to Jensi’s! Also, the long explanation and story would be similar to Dex’s moms case, with a bit of commotion within their family. At least, that’s my take on things 😅

i also agree with the Jensi’s older brother theory because he is an unimportant character with an ability that lines up with a Black Swan member. i don’t think it’s a Councilor, because, well… they’re Councilors

Yeah, and I think it’s in Exile or Everblaze, Jensi talks about his brother manifesting as phaser to Biana

I like the Jensi theory. Which reminds me--what do you guys think of the theory that Tinker (totally forgot about her lol) is Kenric's twin sister? It's sort of a reach but I can see it.

I also like the theory where she's actually Jolie who managed to somehow survive a fire. Fire is mentioned a lot when she's first introduced and she has all of the elements except fire. Her voice is described as raspy which could be because of the smoke of the fire. I guess her appearance is the flaw here though but there's also elixirs which she could change it with.

Also the whole Ruewen crest null thing. Too coincidental.

She could also be a technopath along with a conjurer since it's mentioned, correct me if I'm wrong, in Lodestar (?) that some elves can have multiple like Lady Cadence. Also Dex her cousin is a technopath.

I agree. But do you think Jensi nows that his older brother is Blur or not. Plus I think Sophie will find out who Blur is the same way they found Sqall(Dex Mom).

I think it's Jensi's older brother. In book 6, Sophie, Keefe, Blur, and Lady Candence sail to Ravagog. And it says "For the briefest moment, his features were outlined by the water-and while Sophie didn't recognize him, his full lips and round cheeks felt strangely familiar." Nightfall

I know this might be a new theory, but to be honest I think it could be Elwin.

I think this is what makes the most sense.
I don't think he is Elwin though cause it honestly does not seem likely.
