Serena (sagustocox) | 25 comments I'm looking for those interested in reading and reviewing Out of No Way by Roje Augustin. (https://amzn.to/31z0MOq)

Augustin's book is being turned into a stage play and we're looking to generate more reviews for the genre-bending book about Madam C.J. Walker, who was recently the subject of a Netflix movie, Self Made. (https://www.netflix.com/title/80202462)

Walker, a daughter of slaves, rose up to become a self-made entrepreneur and first millionaire in America during the Jim Crow era. Augustin's book not only speaks to her drive and push to succeed, but also shines a light on how this drive for success affected her family, particularly her daughter, A’Lelia Walker.

The online blog/Instagram tour would be Feb. 1-April 2022.

If you're interested in reviewing it on your blog and Amazon, we'd love to set up a scheduled date.

Please let me know if you have any openings in your schedule.

Thank you,
Serena
