History in Vogue discussion

I'm holding off on this for the moment since I just read the book. They made a lot of changes and not all of them sound positive. I do like the introduction of a female reporter though but she's 15 years too early. Nellie Bly went around the world in 72 days in 1889. Also, no hot air balloon ever appears in the book.

My mom is enjoying this for mindless entertainment. It sounds like they removed one major character and added some new ones and random adventures. My mom's advice was to just forget the book and enjoy this as an original story. I will do that but later on once I forget the plot of the book.
