Tonari no Emily (emlfem) | 5115 comments Is it cheating if I'm reading all the short books first xD

I think that's just called smart prioritizing. :)

Soo (silverlyn) | 6898 comments Emily, do you have Audible? I just assumed you had it.

I added these to my Audible Library via Plus Catalog:

- Venice by Jan Morris
- Hong Kong by Jan Morris
- Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown
- Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T. E. Lawrence (I loved Lawrence of Arabia as a kid. The old classic movie, new movie & book. Hahah)
- The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang

Myths:
- Poetic Edda by Jackson Crawford
- Saga of the Volsungs + Saga of Ragnar Lothrbok by Jackson Crawford
- The Lakota Way by Joseph M. Marshall

There's more on Audible + but I only looked at 4 pages. lol

Tonari no Emily (emlfem) | 5115 comments Soo, I do! I'll look into those, thanks!

Tonari no Emily (emlfem) | 5115 comments Okay, I cut February way too close. Literally finished Kitchen a few minutes before midnight on 2/28... xD
Goal for this month is to read the book before the very last day LOL

Monika | 2309 comments Hmmm... Nice challenge Emily. 'Agatha Christie's secrets notebooks' I finished last month going for non-fiction category I think :) not bad stuff but I enjoyed 'Poirot and me' and 'Behind the lens' by David Suchet more :)

Didn't you read that ebola book in january?... that's non-fiction...

message 12: by Tonari no Emily (new)

Tonari no Emily (emlfem) | 5115 comments Yea.. OG challenge was stuff I already own.. But I might amend because I do have a challenge that's basically.. "Read your damn books" with the Overflowing challenge LOL

At least it would inspire more reading outside the genre regardless of medium/whether I own it... IDK we'll see how I feel this month. xD

Monika | 2309 comments I'll be cleaning my shelves and giving lots to charity, only my faves and not read yet will stay :)) I don't think I have enough bags to pack it LOL

Nirkatze | 20928 comments If you do end up with another 11th hour--I listened to Midnight Son on Audible Plus with Soo and it was short and interesting.
