Blackdiamond (dieheart) | 7 comments So the female MC is an orphan bc her whole family was murder as a child by the military. Her dad developed is a scientic genius and developed some type of equations for military defense.

She grows up and she's just as smart as her dad. She's She's going to college and has a new name, working for a company (she owns) as a scientist developing new things.

She meets this white girl whose ward (father) is in the military. It's not her real dad but he raised her after her mother abandoned her. This white girl is secretly in love with him (yuck lol). Anyways the female MC likes her friends dad so she writes him under a pen pale name and sends him indestructible armar to protect him. His superiors want the armor and decide to start looking for her.

The female MC has to stay hidden or the people who killed her family might kill her. The male mc likes the fmc but he's so much older than her he doesn't make a move until he thinks she's dating someone.

I know this book is a series and his family owns a law firm in tx or Florida. ..

That's most of what I remember and I don't want to write anymore to spoil it for anyone else. Has anyone read this book

Yes the third one is out, but parts of the second one was incredibly stupid, incomprehensible and downright nonsensical.
As well, there is one thing in IR that I despise: namely a woman having a man's child and not telling him. I can't think of anything I hate more. So I'm taking a hard pass on this 3rd one and the author, unless he or she fixes what don't work for me with the story telling.

Justine, I hate secret child stories too.

I am at a loss to understand why there are so many plots of this kind. Are they writing from experience? Think this is worthwhile story telling? I don't get it.

Tanya Burke | 6 comments Replying to Justine and Arch,

Justine and Arch, I'm also not a fan of secret child stories. Especially ones where the reason the child is a secret is because the woman was so insecure in herself she just had to keep the child a secret because the father just wasn't looking for something long term with her.

There is only two reason of this trope that does not tick me off: it was a one night stand and she couldn't find him after she realized she was pregnant.

Maybe authors are writing from experience or they are writing what they think is supposed to happen in stories that includes babies.

The Lovely (thelovelybibliophile) | 84 comments Hi everyone,,

There's this book I've been trying to remember the title and author of. I vaguely remember the details of the story because it been so long since I read it. If someone knows this book please reply. Thank you in advance.

BWWM:
Heroine: She just passed the bar to become an attorney. She's out celebrating with friends.
Hero: He's a athlete. He goes out with some friends.

He and her spend a night together after sitting in the club jesting about the club goers. About 5 years later they both attended the same wedding at which he discovers he's a father. He is also teammates with her brother.

Kay | 34 comments It’s a blue saffire book- I think it’s Ballers. Guys name is Bradly Monroe, can’t think of the girls name.

The Lovely (thelovelybibliophile) | 84 comments YES!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I kept confusing Blue Saffire Ballers Series with Sosie Frost Touchdowns and Tiaras Series and Rhonda Laurel's The Blake Boys Series. Then would get frustrated because I could picture the book cover but couldn't remember the book title or author name. So happy now I can reread the Ballers Series. Again thank you.
