This is my first time joining a challenge also!
I’m going for as many points as possible but just looking over the titles in my TBR list there’s a good possibility I’ll be able to get 2 point but aiming for more. I have never played scattergories but I think I’m understanding this round. I’ll just read a book starting with as many same letters in the title from what ever letter is given. I’m guessing subtitles are out. We could probably get a load of points with subtitles 😁

This first round doesn't seem easy. I don't have any idea for the moment. I read

This round is Animal, so the title doesn't apply. You need to read a book that has an animal mentioned in it starting with P (i.e. pig, pony, poodle, pug, pit bull, etc.) If you can find one with multiple P's, it'll be worth more points (i.e. "her poodle, named Peaches" [2 points], "He got her a pinto pony, named peaches" [3 points]

Notice
If you have a team member that didn't check in or finish a book for a round, someone else on the team may post an extra book to fill in for them.
Preference is for each member to read their own (1) book, but life happens and sometimes someone can't read as expected.

Yes, I think we post ideas and our chosen books here. Then when we have finished the book we post it on the 'Team Sequel Round' thread.

I think I'm going to take the easy route and read Mr. Popper's Penguins. I'll try to keep in mind a penguin with a P name!
I've started the book Room-maid by Sariah Wilson which has a dog named Pigeon but I just am not that into it as of now.
Or i might take one of these suggestions!

Melanie has posted the letter for the next round: S and the category is: secondary female character.
The book I read today had a secondary female character with a S name and I posted it. Hoping I read a different book that is worth more, since this was only 1 point, so I can swap it. :)

I've just finished A Change of Fortune, character is Salice Southmoor. I don't think there is any rule against team members reading the same book for a round.

Beyond All Dreams - Sarah Starling
Far Side of the Sea - Miss Simmons
To Steal a Heart - Mrs Sampson
The Forgotten Recipe - Sarah

Some other options:

That book was so good!! It’s only 3 points so I’m still looking for more points.
