Hey team!
I'm going to try and pick a book with the most points i can find each round off my TBR pile. I'm thinking title, Goodreads Shelf, and author are the three easiest categories with lots of options. We shall see. :)

Found a couple book options...not sure which I'll read yet.
"On the rooftop below, the colony of Quaker parrots bustled about, preening and tending to their tangle of nests. Kindle Location #1932 (worth 1 point)
"He scooped the pup into his arms and stood." Page 62 (worth 1 point)
"Emma was just tossing a morsel of bread to a pigeon when she caught sight of Alice." Page 199 (worth 1 point)
"Kitty B. readjusted herself on the lid of her rose-colored toilet in her pink tiled bathroom as she stroked Peaches, her mangy apricot poodle, who was licking her hands as she wrung them." - Page 3 (worth 2 points)

OO, so if an animal has a P name and a P category we can count both?
Tiffany, it doesn't help if the author's name starts with P. This round only matter about the animal.
Hannah,
Yes, as long as it is mentioned somehow together.
ie. Zoey the Zebra:
her zebra, named Zoey;
it was Zoey, the old zebra.

I'm so sorry, but it has to be at least 150 pages. :(
Regarding notification, I first post on the Called Category and Letter thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
If you want to get notifications for that thread, just scroll to the bottom and click "Notify me when people comment" (located right above the chat box).
I hope that helps and I'm sorry tor the difficulty of this round. :/

Letter S
Secondary Female Character
Some books I've found.

"A black sedan pulled into the space beside them, and Serena Summers got out." Page 21
(I've already read this one, but just wanted to share a find)

Tiffany wrote: "Is there a way for our book to count as more than one point?"
Yes, if the secondary female character's first and last name start with S, that's two points. First and middle name, that's two points. Middle and last name, that's two points. First, middle, and last name, that's three points.
Examples:
Sarah Elizabeth Smith (2 points - first and last name)
Sarah Sandra Smith (3 points - first, middle, and last name)
Nicknames don't count for extra, so Sarah "Sally" Smith would only be 2 points
Jobs/Titles also don't count towards points, so Secret Service Agent Sarah Smith would only be 2 points

I usually search my Kindle books for female S names to see if there are any secondary characters, but you can also go to either Amazon (click the book's cover to search inside the book) or go to books.google.com and see if you can search inside a particular book. Hope that's helpful. On the app right now, so difficult to link/type in depth. Just make sure that the character you're using isn't mentioned in the blurb/description of the book. :)
