CRT | 1 comments I often feel the same way about how these personal computing/assistant entities are named. The term e-butler just grates on me and seems a bit silly. What are other peoples *favourite* terms?

Trike | 11190 comments Clearly they should be called iJeeves.

Molly (mollyrichmer) | 148 comments I roll my eyes every single time I read e-butler. I just can't not.

Harry Blanchard | 7 comments The term e-butler conjures up the obligatory British accent and the paradoxical tone of both condescension and subservience. I like it, here. As for alternatives, Pinsker in We Are Satellites coins the term "Pilot" which has a nice sinister tone to it, eh?

To that end, I kinda like co-pilot.

Richard (zeppo007) | 7 comments I liked GUPPI from Bobiverse quite a bit.
