What are you currently reading? So far, so good? Thoughts, questions, concerns.

Right now I am reading, "To Whisper her Name" but Tamera Alexander. This is the first book in her Belle Meade Plantation trilogy. I have read it before, but this time it is taking me a little longer to finish it, but I am not sure why. It is not my favorite book in the series, but the storyline is still pretty good. I am really interested in visiting the real Belle Meade Plantation though!

Cari (carimae20) | 2 comments The Silent Patient. I'm only about 30 pages in. I've heard really good things about it, so I'm hoping I'm not disappointed, I've got high hopes.

Imran Zafar (imranz40) | 14 comments I am reading The invisible life of Addie Larue by VE Shwab. So far I have read around 100 pages and I am very moved by this book. The writing is beautiful and the whole book is setup nicely switching between different time lines. If anybody has read it I would definitely like to hear about their opinion of this book. So far at least a 4 star read for me.

I haven't actually read the original but I think it sort of is? I read a lot of other people's reviews after I read it and it sounds like it kept Anne's character the same and the major plot points were the same, but there were some side characters like the teachers and Gilbert that had scenes cut out for the manga format

message 12: by Fall (new)

Fall T I am going to read Ugly Love

Candice's Library Midnight Magic (book 2) I'm almost half way through it, I'm also reading Sow by Marata Eros and I am struggling to continue. once I start a series I really want to finish the series but her writing makes me crazy... I can't get into the story, its a spicy spicy book but some of the spicy scenes make no sense as to why its happening or its at super inappropriate times. I started reading another book but I was losing interest completely lol y'all ever have a book like that?

message 32: by leni (new)

leni | 2 comments “My Policeman” By Bethan Roberts, because I am in love with Harry styles. I’m only 20 pages in and it is currently pretty confusing and it’s set in a different time frame and country so the slang is different to what I’m used to but it’s a pretty good read and I love the aesthetic!
