So I have a few songs that I love and I don't understand why people hated on them. Like for example, 'Sticker'... Well yeah, I understand why people don't like it, I didn't like it at first but there was something that made me listen to it more and now I absolutely love it. So I understand that, but the song also got them their first Daesang, so that's amazing. First of all, I think every single NCT song is amazing or at least okay in my opinion. It's probably just me though because I think their Music is my taste.

If Blinks hated 'Solo' just because Jennie was the first to release solo Music in Blackpink, they're just dumb, sorry, that's offensive, but it's true.

I completely understand the hate for 'Black Mamba' by Aespa. I really like the song, but I extremely dislike that it was kind of copied.

I used to hate 'Ddu Du Ddu' by Blackpink because it was really popular and I was really supportive of BTS being the most popular K-Pop band, but now I don't care about popularity because I'm not stupid. I think it's a really good song and people shouldn't hate it because of its popularity.

I also understand the hate on 'Permission To Dance' by BTS because it doesn't reach the bop that is 'Butter' according to many people. I love it because I'm an ARMY who supports everything BTS does lol, but I know some ARMY's don't like that BTS is making a lot of English songs, but they can do whatever they want, so ARMY's, stop judging them.

Supposedly 'Jopping' was hated??! I see absolutely NO reason why it was hated if it was. It's literally an incredibly amazing song, and everything is really good. Like, Mark's rap..... "Think you're a big boy throwing three stacks." literally one of my favourite raps ever. And I thought everyone loved most of the members of SuperM. No reason for the hate yet again.

I COMPLETELY understand the hate for 'Ice Cream' by Blackpink though, I mean, just watch the Music video and read the lyrics, it's clearly obvious. I also don't like it, but I wouldn't actively hate on it, I don't understand why people hate on things and people so severely.

And was 'La vie en rose' hated? I don't know why, I like it, but whatever.

And I LOVE 'Bicycle' by Chungha, it's amazing. It's stupid that it was hated.

What are some songs that were hated and you liked?

I love every song mentioned here but I didn't know they were hated

I personally didn't like Butter but after listening to it a few times it is ok with me now

I loved butter but I don't want to have to lose the fun I experience while listening to it so I don't keep listening

I loved 'Butter' immediately, but I can relate, it took me a while to love 'Sticker', but I'm so glad I got there because it is such a bop in my opinion. And it takes me a few listens to like a lot of songs, I get it ")

Yeah, I can also relate to that. I listened to One Directions songs and watched their videos over and over again when I was obsessed, now they're not that fun for me anymore, and I've learned to not become like that again lol.

Yeah. That is the main reason I have 400+ songs in my playlist

My personal opinion which comes with a stoopid story: (please don't take this seriously, I just wanted to tell you a story of mine T-T)

This is a large thingy I've written, don't read if lazy.(view spoiler)[ I understand that PTD got way too much hype, I've been an ARMY for years and there are songs that deserved more hype (Not me thinking of how Jeongguk forgot Heartbeat- That song saved me 😭😭)

I see people giving hate to PTD and their points were very much true. But for some reason, I couldn't just bring myself to understand the hate to PTD at all.

Me being the stubborn person I was, started recollecting my thoughts. I then remembered that my midterms were extremely close and my parents were just putting a lot of pressure on me. I stayed away for nights on end, and I didn't get much time to even watch BTS. And I was suffering from some added side problems too, and they were quite serious. (No hate to my parents though, I know they're just doing it to help me get good results)

So I heard the news out of nowhere that they were dropping a new song after butter and I was legit so excited. My younger sis told me it was the only time last year that I actually smiled.

On the day of the premiere, I had academy classes that started at 4 in the morning and ended around seven at night. The premiere as around nine-thirty in the morning XD

I don't know why I felt so proud that time (I feel cringy just thinking about it now XD), but I was able to complete the whole lengthy worksheet our maths teacher gave us to complete in an hour and I was able to leave class earlier than the rest of the class. I ran to the library and get on the student computer, just in time to watch the premiere from the beginning to the end.

I don't know why, but those four-five minutes of that live premiere made my mood so high I was happy for weeks. I remember it kinda felt like a blessing that I heard that song that day, cause if I remember correctly, the day started out quite horrible but ended with me jumping up and down after class while hearing the song while coming back home at night XD

I don’t understand people that hate on groups or songs because of fan wars. That’s super petty. I thought Sticker was weird at first but it’s a bop and I love it now, no doubt. Jopping is overplayed for me at this point but it was unprecedented when it was released. PTD is def not my fav BTS track personally but I respect it because they’re whole vibe is not being stuck to one genre. Their musical variety is why they’re a fantastic group for literally everyone. Solo is amazing tbh lol yeah I just don’t get it. Some songs are annoyingly catchy but that’s what makes them so good. Fancy by TWICE annoyed me at first but now I’m convinced it’s one of the greatest melodies ever written. JYP knows the entertainment business and how to write some stellar music. The fact that they are annoyingly catchy or the “worst” often means they’ll be super popular in the long run. 🤷‍♀️

Ya I feel that I can understand not liking songs cuz there are a bunch of K-pop songs — popular or not — that just aren’t for me and that’s totally fine I respect everyone’s opinions and taste in music. It just confuses me why people feel the need to bring hate to songs. This isn’t to say you can’t voice your opinions or shouldn’t hold an artist or company accountable for copyright and cultural appropriation and stuff like that because that stuff is serious. I just don’t get why so many people out there find the need to write hate messages when they don’t like something. If you don’t like it — that’s ok, don’t listen to it — just don’t bring other people down for it 🧁

I HATED zimzalabim the first 100 or so times I heard it cuz it was just so different but I was so determined to like it I just kept listening to it and one day I was like this song bops!!

And now I’m low key addicted to it hahaha 😅

Yeah, it's really ridiculous that people fight over things like that when they could just be accepting. Your opinion on "Sticker" is exactly mine! I didn't like it, but now I know it is an absolute bop.

'Permission to Dance'
It got a lot of hate because apparently, it's not okay for BTS to make English songs now? Personally, at first listen, I thought it wasn't there best work from the rest of their masterpieces but after listening to it on a loop for like 30 minutes (4 hours), it was so catchy and I started to love the vibe. So yes, I currently love the song and probably will never hate it lol 💜 Anyway hardcore ARMY here!

'Ring Ding Dong'
Not sure if anyone disliked it before but I thought it was quite annoying but then later I thought it sounded funny and it's still my alarm clock 😄 This song made me a Shawol :)

'Case 143'
I'm not a stay but I know some stays who criticised the song and said that it's the exact same song as Maniac and Thunderous. It does sound pretty similar but i do like the vibe of it.

I personally think it's okay but I guess it's just a lot of other peoples' opinions... Stays will have at least a least favorite song and that's also okay...

I think most group's hated songs are hated because they don't live up to their fandom's expectations.
From what I've heard, ptd by bts was hated because everyone wanted the "old" bts back, meaning they wanted them to make Korean songs. And, it just didn't meet their expectations. I admit it's not my favorite but I still really love it after listening it a few times and it's inspiring. it's stupid people hate it.
Blackpink's Pink Venom got a load of hate because after 2 years, it didn't meet blinks expectations and ppl were just really disappointed, and i totally get it. But its super catchy especially the main chorus so i love it :,)
I love Cat & Dog by txt, I know it was hated because it was called "annoying" and "repetitive" but i like it cause I think it's cute and its also my type of music.
Future Perfect (Pass the MIC) by enhypen according to the listeners, it wasn't "good enough." It took me a while to like it but now I do, the energy in the song has me hyped!
Case 143 by stray kids is probably one of my favorite stray kids songs i listen to! i heard listeners didn't like the repetitive concepts stray kids use for this song but I love this song and the rest of the album!
