Prologue
* Okay so this is a lot of information but I just re read the blurb and it brought back memories of what happened previously (I have a terrible memory, I hope as we read on more memories come back 😅)
* So, based on the last book, we saw Severin being the only one to read the sacred script that no one was able to read, not even Laila with her abilities. I am guessing it is because of his Blessed lineage, something to do with their eyes. And now we find out the instrument, the lyre is not meant to be played or destruction and disaster will follow. Which Severin is about to go and play ! But he doesn’t know this since his mother never told him and I don’t think The Matriach of the House of Kore Delphine, told him either? I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know about not playing this instrument but here he is about to play it
* That was a lot for just a prologue

Part I
Ch 1 Severin
* Oh so he does not it will lead to disaster if he plays it, but if played in a sacred place it will give godhood? But what if that doesn’t work???
* Oh my goodness don’t tell me Severin was the one who wanted to be a god? Ahhh I think so, I vague remember feeling this confusion mixed with anger when I read that
* I really hope Severin knows what he is doing
* And I really hope Laila and the others crack the code to find the map

Ch 2 Laila
* Poor Laila, so heartbroken. I hope she makes it

Ch 3 Zofia
* Ah I love Zofia and Enrique’s relationship! So good to see them together
* Oh man, all these backstory of what happened is making me sad again
* I just hope they can still get to Severin in time to save him and Laila even if without the bug

Ch 4 Laila
* Ahhh only 9 days! Only 9 days and already feeling like a living corpse 😭

Ch 5 Enrique
* I know Hypnos is not terrible and all but man does he know how to make Enrique feel small! Using him in their relationship to get closer to Severin and now doubting him when he is trying to figure out the clues. Like I don’t see you contributing in any way Hypnos!

Ch 6 Severin
* I can’t believe Severin wants to bring Tristan back from the dead? Will he be an,e to do that?
* And he really needs to stop thinking that everyone will forgive. Maybe Zofia might, definitely Hypnos he’s such a suck up for him
* Laila and Enrique? Yeah I don’t see it happening so quickly

Ch 7 Zofia
* Ah I love it when Zofia shows her confidence, how I see it is Enrique is their leader trying to find the way without Severin while Zofia is their glue that keeps them together. With Laila in her own headspace about how little time she has left and Hypnos being Hypnos, they need them both to keep the group together

Ch 8 Severin
* Oh man Severin is going to be severely disappointed when they don’t show up

Ch 9 Enrique
* I need more Enrique being stuck and Zofia being there to help him know exactly what or where to look for it. I live for them!

Ch 10 Laila
* Oh my gosh she is at the meeting place almost at midnight. This is either very good or very bad for them all
* I don’t what I want Laila to do, to leave or see Severin. I’m so conflicted ! I want them together but Severin is blinded by grief and wanting to fix everyone!

Ch 11 Severin
* So they just missed each other but at least them not appearing gave him a moment to reconsider his action
* But I fear he might still want to be a god even if he admits his power and money won’t win back his friends
* Perhaps they might meet up at this party though
* I’m so nervous for them all, I fear not everyone will make it by the end of the book

I finally read this set woo!! Sorry it took so long! I’m planning to read the next set this weekend and pick up the pace :)). Anyway, I enjoyed getting back into this, but damn this book is annoying me!! I can’t believe Laila and Séverin were that close to meeting ahhh!!

- Yep that was a lot for the prologue, but it also helped me remember what happened in the last book, because I also have horrible memory😂.
- yeah I also love Zofia and Enrique’s relationship, they’re both so precious and sweet, even though both of them are struggling a bit right now. I hope we get to see them bond and maybe even become something more during this book?
- ahh yeah I don’t know what to think about Hypnos… I like him but I don’t love him… I definitely feel horrible for Enrique, but I also feel that he didn’t mean to hurt Enrique.
- mmm I know, im worried that Séverin has gone off the deep end a little with this god stuff… bringing Tristan back will not end up well. And yeah he’s definitely depending too much on their forgiveness for this whole plan, not to mention that it all rides on the mnemo bug… that Laila smashed😅.
- I agree, I love Zofia so much, she might be my favourite character!!
- arghhhh nothing annoyed me more than Séverin and laila just missing one another!! It killed me!! But yeah I hope they meet at the party or something, because even if everything’s messed up, I feel we’ll need the whole gang to save Laila and stop all this trouble with Rustan or whatever his name is…
- and yeah I’m worried that Laila might die! She’s just the one that I’m getting possible death vibes from now, or maybe Séverin. Or Hypnos… ok I don’t know😂 I just hope not Enrique or Zofia, my precious babies!

HAHAHAH I was so conflicted I didn’t know what I wanted them to do, to meet or not to meet? That was my dilemma 😅😂😭

I hope so too. But I like that we get to see a different side of their character. I feel with Enrique we understand more why he is visibly more upset with how he feels Severin treated him, like he feels like he was not being used to his full potential since Severin held him back many times? I like that we get to see this side of him. Don’t get me wrong I do want the whole gang to be friends again by the end of the book (Really hoping for an HEA but I hardly doubt it, but still slightly hoping). But I really like we are getting more in-depth perspective of these characters.
And yes I am hoping they do become more in this book, who knows.

Yeah he is one of those forgettable side characters, but he could be useful later on

Hahah I was so conflicted but it was so mean that they barely missed each other. I wonder how their encounter will be if they do meet at the party. Severin will have a different approach to them thinking they purposely avoided to him meet him.
I do hope they set their differences aside to help Laila, her time is fast approaching. Makes me nervous when her time is mentioned in the book and its only the first half of the book! Definitely someone is dying, that’s a fact I know for sure haha but I really hope it isn’t Enrique or Zofia either! I also do hope her sister is okay too!

yes i agree, i also love seeing that side of Enrique, it makes him so human, and his anger at severin is definitely understandable! i mean he also suffered the most physically with this new situation, losing an ear and everything.

(Really hoping for an HEA but I hardly doubt it, but still slightly hoping).

stoppp i'm still hoping for that as well, but who knows😭 i guess we'll see! fingers crossed haha.
