Hello,

I was starting to get a little claustrophobic and overwhelmed with all the categories and folders. I cleaned it up a bit for 2022. Everything that was not saved in their specific categories was put into one folder 2021.

I there is something I took away that you would like to have back, let me know.

Has anyone else been required to confirm they are not a robot through Captcha? And have you been cussing up a storm like me?

This weather is crazy today. Bright and sunny, then a small ominous cloud darkens the world, spits rain and ice and snow, then poof- gone and sun again.

Yes, the weather sure can be crazy!!! It's like that here where I live as well but usually later in the spring. Makes for some good photography though. :)

I had caught up with most of my books that I started but then my sister says "you must read this" and then the library book needs to be priority, and then next thing I know Mom hands me another book she borrowed from the library for me to read (I didn't know this was in the works) and now I'm back logged again.

Jason ZK (noirzk) | 10 comments I know I haven't been talking much. Just lurking around here and there. Lol. I've been tagged to go back active duty for the US Navy so that's why I've been silent and probably will be silent until next year. Can't really say where I'm going. I just started reading Ready Player Two after I finished One. I'll be reading a lot in the next year. My plan is to finish Harry Potter 4-8 and binge Percy Jackson. I've noticed my favorite books are Young Adult books probably because they are geared more for fantasy and that's my reading level... Lol.

HAHA. I love Harry Potter! I'm going to binge Percy Jackson at some point. You would enjoy Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series. I inhaled them. My niece was over yesterday and was reading The Bad Guys: Episode 1. HYSTERICAL.

Lurking is perfectly acceptable. Best of everything being back on active duty. We will be here when you return.

Ok, I was working on my journal and organizing all my notes today. I thought why not turn on Disney Plus for a little background noise. 6 hours later and after binge watching LOKI, I found out that Season 2 is not out yet. This breaks my heart. So much for finishing my book.

My oldest son and I watched an episode every week when it came out. I didn't think I'd like it but am now waiting for season 2 like you. :) Can I ask how you do your journaling? It's something I'd like to get into. I do use the app Gratitude, but I'd like to try something creative and as a physical book.

I have a grid notebook that I made into my reading journal- it has challenges, lists, calendar, TBR, whatever I can think of and has book cover pictures glued in (my book no longer closes). I'll take some pictures and post them under photos.

Thank you. My mom and sister are doing there's month by month and only make it a years worth but since I'll be in Missouri eventually, I decided to make it last as long as possible and filled it up since Mom has all the supplies. Now I just read and check off.

Those two are very precise, I'm more like a bull in a china shop. Their books close and look very professional. This is my first journal, I think they're on their 3rd.

Someday, I would like the confidence to start an art/junk journal. I love the way they look especially if they don't fully close. :)

I am a big fan of the non-closable journals too! I used glue and the other two used tape. I think I'll attack the pages with water color. Really go wild.

Thank you. We were laughing because when I arrived St. Louis had a 2.8 magnitude earthquake. The family joke is that's my way of saying "I am here!" because I was born during a large earthquake in California.

Gia | 17 comments You're welcome. Oh my gosh! And I can see how that would become a family joke, lol! I love it:) I'm glad you're home... earthquake announcement and all!

Another week of doctor overload is behind me. Great news about my heart scan - 0% plaque build-up. I do have to look forward to a week long in hospital stay to monitor why my seizures are ramping up in frequency and strength. I decided to view this as a reading resort.

I disappeared again, sorry friends.

I have been struggling with what I am calling a book slump but it's a bit more of a medical issue that makes language a struggle. However, I discovered that greatest thing in the world, listening to an audiobook while reading along!!

Who know you could actually feel pain inside your brain- that's what was happening when I read on my own or listened on my own. How frustrating to feel like I have early onset dementia and unable to read, write, or even comprehend! This has been the most beautiful solution and I can enjoy books again.
