Going out into the hallway, she encountered Esmerelda. Looking at the room, she said, "Where's the Celestial Lupa?" Lupa's eyes were defiant. "Gone. Loki took her." Reality magic grabbed her and threw her into the wall. "And you let him escape?" Coughing, she snarled, "When were you going to tell me the truth? That we're not sisters."
Lupa screamed as Esmerelda stabbed her in the stomach. "Take her to the Brainwashing chamber. Make sure she forgets everything."
Mara had watched this all go down in her wolf form. With a growl, she followed them in the shadows.
