Kindle on iPad

I find the kindle app on my iPad friendlier than my paperwhite and more convenient for travel since it has more functions and is easier to charge. Is there any way to order kindle books when the kindle device is not at hand?

I order my books on my phone. I go from an email trying to sell me a Kindle book, go to that book, then use the order block at the top instead to order whatever book I want.
