Hey, it’s ok to love both! It’s just that they are so similar yet so different. I liked the vague biblical themes in the stand quite a bit while the absolute carnage of Swan Song made for a more intense reading experience. Also, I much prefer McCammon’s dialogue.

Sorry I was kind of new to this app. & just realized my “Favored” book was being questioned. It is the Robert McCammon’s book. No idea there was another book with the same title. I’ll check it out.
I agree with Ray, McCammon's dialogue is better. But even though both are similar, they're different enough to be worthwhile. Why not read both?
read both, the stand is a classic. Swan Song was the first McCammon book i read and it made me a fan.
