Hey, it’s ok to love both! It’s just that they are so similar yet so different. I liked the vague biblical themes in The Stand quite a bit while the absolute carnage of Swan Song made for a more intense reading experience. Also, I much prefer McCammon’s dialogue.

Based on the ends of the world with a little girl who has the gift of life. Many are called to an old woman along with this little girl.
What keeps you involved in this book is after they introduce all the main characters they speak of “THE TALONS OF GOD”. That’s what keeps you reading.
