Heather Hi Anne!

During Ice Storm '22 I had the chance to sit down and read A History of Wild Places which I am almost done with. I am loving the book. Mix together physiological thriller with a bit of magical realism and I am there!

Great Circle seems to be getting a lot of buzz in the literary community, so I have that one on my list. I am about to start The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks for the Novels After Noon BDG, which goes well with this weeks theme!

Anne - I did get some reading done during the ice storm, including the book for yesterday's Mystery Book Club, which I totally forgot to sign up for and then worked too late to attend. Ugh. Did people like the book? Also, is there a March meeting? I don't see it on the library calendar.

Diana | 84 comments I've been meaning to read Hamnet (and also A Tip for the Hangman) for ages... I should really get on it.

My book started during the ice storm is apropos, though: Armed In Her Fashion.

Ummm, Armed in Her Fashion looks AMAZING!!!! I'm ashamed to say that I started Hamnet months ago and it was VERY good, but got caught up in lesser works (read: murder mysteries) and have yet to finish it.

Hi Susan! Here's the link for March: https://albanypubliclibrary.libcal.co...

People had a LOT to say about The Maidens...

It's just unfortunate because it could have been truly GREAT!

Susan D'Entremont (susande) | 286 comments Oh, I am bummed that I missed it. I kind of liked The Maidens. Although I never really figured out what the deal was with Fred.

Signing up for the March group now! Thanks for the link.

YES! We had such great ideas on how to make it better.

I'm already enjoying The Plot and looking forward to our discussion.
