Monthly Challenge: 1st to 31st March
Only books read during the challenge period are allowed.

Guidelines:
- Read ONE book for each category (10 books in total).
- You don't have to read all ten categories, just read whatever you are able.
- Any genres are acceptable.
- Any book length is acceptable.

For the competitive (optional)
- At the end of each month, document your finished books in the reporting thread
- 1pt for each book completed, 2pts for any book that is on the 2021 Goodreads winners and nominees list
- Each month's totals will be collated and the member with the most points at the end of the year will have bragging rights.


March Challenge - March Madness
The term March Madness dates back to the 1800s and is connected the much older mid-1500s Mad As A March Hare.
A book famous March Hare is a character appearing in the tea party scene in Lewis Carroll's 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Below is some of the character from the story and corresponding prompts.

I was thinking of The Enchanted Sonata by Heather Dixon Wallwork . I see the nutcracker on the top has a hat on his head, would it work?

Hmm .... I didn't state a size restriction but I do expect to be able to recognize that there is a hat on the cover. If you'd not pointed it out (and knowing what a nutcracker soldier looks like in real life) then I wouldn't have pointed this cover out as suitable.

So I'm going to have to say no to this I'm afraid.
