Book. Obviously. You never have to worry about it dying, and I retain the information better. Most of the time, if I'm looking at an article or something on my laptop or phone, I have a hard time remembering who's who, and that's when I'm not getting distracted. Also, one of my cats (not the one who's been sick, the other one) loves sitting on my book, laptop, etc. I'm pretty sure he'd be the same with an e-reader, and having fifteen pounds of cat on a fragile e-reader could very well damaged it or delete the e-book; he's already damaged my laptops, created new shortcuts, and deleted stuff I was writing and planning to save on the computer.
